September 2001 #PoliticalThoughtsAndFeelings

Hello everyone, I just wanted to share that my life is good and brings me happiness. Although I’m not as active online as before, I enjoy the hermit lifestyle because I often find that unless I tag a specific person or company, my posts receive little engagement, which can be disappointing. I recognize I’m not a full-time creator and don’t sell my products; I knit and crochet for pleasure—it’s my therapy. Sometimes it’s costly, but still cheaper than therapy, which in my case is provided by my four-legged, tailed therapist. My family and close friends keep me grounded. Most days, I watch Roku or listen to Spotify. I share my digital art when I feel like it; I do digital paint-by-numbers puzzles daily.
I’m very frustrated with the current political climate. I appreciate and somewhat trust the current president, but beyond that, unless someone is a U.S. citizen and shares Christian values, I don’t trust them at all. The situation in New York City is appalling. The mayor-elect is a U.S. citizen, but he was not born here and isn’t a Christian. He’s quite the opposite, which is disturbing for a city like New York. It seems like the Muslim Brotherhood is trying to take over. It’s clear that some people have forgotten what happened on September 11th 2001 and this is unsettling—almost 25 years later. I pray we outlaw certain things before we lose our country. My eighth-generation grandfather fought to free us from the UK, not to see us fall into Muslim extremism. For those who think abolishing kings applies here, we haven’t had a king since we left Europe. If you believe Democrats are the solution for America’s problems, I pray for you because I think you’re mistaken. You’ve been misled. I do like some Democrats, such as John Fetterman, who has maintained his mental acuity despite suffering strokes, demonstrating that he has common sense. Many Democrats, however, don’t seem honest.
Josh Shapiro campaigned on bipartisan cooperation, but his actions now reveal his true colors, and I don’t trust him. Pennsylvania is my home state, and I also love New Jersey, though it’s still a blue state. Unfortunately, Mikie Sherrill won that seat. I believe far-left and Marxist Democrats shouldn’t have a place in America. I am an eclectic, neurodivergent witch with a Christian upbringing, and I still think that the Christian lifestyle benefits the country’s sanity. I have personal reasons for no longer practicing the Christian religion, but I’ve learned more since high school than I ever did in school. Education can be challenging for me because I need to be genuinely interested in learning. I hope my content is engaging, sometimes entertaining, and educational, which is why I do some of what I do—sharing opinions, telling stories. I have many stories to tell over time, but I tend to trust very few people. I’m polite because that’s the right thing, and I genuinely like people, even if I prefer not to be around them. That might not make sense, but I give everyone the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. Politics tends to reveal people’s true colors. I trust some friends, but only to an extent; there are topics I won’t discuss with anyone outside my inner circle.
