Officer shooting prompts manhunt in northern Illinois
FOX LAKE, Ill. (AP) – Police in northern Illinois say a manhunt is underway after an officer was shot.
Lake County Major Crimes Task Force Cmdr. George Filenko tells WBBM radio that an officer was shot Tuesday morning in Fox Lake, 55 miles north of Chicago. The report said the officer’s condition was not immediately available.
