Thursday Thoughts (Part 2)

Thursday Thoughts (Part 2)
So I’m at home after a long day of window shopping and people watching. Definitely got some reblogging done while I was at the Apple Store. As previously mentioned, I’m definitely looking forward to getting my iPhone 6S. When I left this morning I wasn’t sure what brand case I was getting only because I am looking to only purchase one case for this phone. Anyhow long story short, I’ve decided to go with #OtterBox since it is the cheaper than Lifeproof even though they have similar features- I think there’s more choices with OtterBox. In other news, the court has ruled in favor of Tom Brady in the deflate gate and of course the NFL is challenging that ruling so it will be interesting to see how far this case goes. Some may think it’s a bunch of bullshit and some people may see the reason why the NFL made the decision. It is in my personal opinion that Tom Brady is just stuck up and gets whatever he wants because he has the money to bail himself out of whatever trouble he may find himself in. With regard to the LGBT/marriage equality/County Clerk issue in The state of Kentucky, Miss Kim Davis has been found guilty of contempt of court and has been sent to jail; I have not checked to see how long she is incarcerated but I am happy that they put her in jail. Here is why I think it’s a positive thing that she was incarcerated. I do not think that religious believes should be a question when the Supreme Court makes a decision. So I wonder what will happen with her son who is also in the position of issuing marriage licenses he has reportedly refused to issue same-sex licenses. I wonder if they are going to put him in the same facility as his mama. Aside from that type of news, I have been paying attention to what’s happening in the Virgin Islands. And for once it is not anything to do with hurricane season. I’m not sure about the specifics because not everything was released; there was an incident today at the university of the Virgin Islands-Saint Thomas. Apparently a male was shot and the suspects fled and gave the police a high-speed chase. I am following different news sources and locations on St. Thomas on my USVI Facebook account. I also have a Twitter account devoted to the USVI. Even though I do miss living on the island, I believe that it’s safer to live vicariously-electronically/virtually on the island. As I am dictating this entry, I am watching AETV until further notice. I am very disappointed/sad that the reality program beyond scared straight is ending it’s series because I do believe that it is a positive program for youth. It is a program that takes youth who are living dangerously and shows them what could happen to them if they continue the negative behavior/life of crime. Another program that I am following on Thursdays is teen mom. Yes I know I’m in my mid-30s but it’s a good program/teaching tool for young women and it has been proven in the past to be positive in teaching pregnancy prevention. I am going to end this entry since I’ve been ramble on for a while now-I will be back later as always.
