-Monday Review-
Good evening everyone, I am finally back home sitting on my sofa with a very cute 10-year-old. Definitely had a good day today and definitely enjoyed the Daytona 500 yesterday. I was very happy with how things unfolded yesterday of until the last lap, Martin Truex Jr did a fantastic job wheeling that 78 machine. As did Mr. Dale Earnhardt Jr a fabulous job at wheeling the 88 machine. Unfortunately neither of my drivers nor my sentimental favorite of Michael Waltrip or Brian Vickers who is filling in for Tony Stewart won the race yesterday. Although the 78 came damn close. Denny Hamlin being the 2016 Daytona 500 winner is not as bad as it could’ve been. I’m just very thankful it was not the 22 or the 18. Granted I will admit that Joey and Kyle are both very nice guys, I don’t necessarily like them as drivers, sort of like the way I don’t like Jeff Gordon as a driver: he is much better as an announcer. I guess it’s the driving style that I don’t really like of theirs. I know that a lot of people are going to be all superduper excited about Denny Hamlin in the next couple weeks and his fans definitely deserve to party because the Daytona 500 is a pretty big victory it is the diamond in our series of competition. Anyway with that being said I’m looking forward to the next race and hoping that my drivers Dale and Martin Truex Jr both have a better Sunday than they did yesterday even though I am damn proud of Martin for coming in second. And I’m damn proud of Sherry and Martin as a couple as a team-I support the Martin Truex Jr foundation. In any event to my day in particular was pretty good I have been looking at a life proof iPad mini case times two because both of my Bluetooth cases decide to take a shit. And to me it is not worth having a battery replaced especially when the iPad keyboard is much more functional versus the Logitech. Lifeproof had a discount on the particular iPad mini case/stand and it was really a no-brainer. I spent $46 on two cases that normally run for $40 each. A 40% discount is pretty nice. Mind you I got both gray, Eric reminded me that I need to get stickers so I can identify which is the iPad mini 1 and which is the iPad mini 2. Anyhow the day overall was pretty good, I haven’t finished my article sharing for the evening which means that I will probably return here to add another journal entry with comments about the upcoming article shares but that’s all for now.
