iCloudy Coconut Island
Sitting here inside on another cloudy day in Philadelphia-relaxing with the furbaby, watching NASCAR. Last night unfortunately it was another deceased found in a parking garage in King of Prussia. Unlike the last time where a 50 something year old was found in the parking lot of Lord & Taylor with a gunshot wound to the head-I don’t know what this gentleman passed away from but it was a 40 something-year-old from Norristown who had been reported missing earlier yesterday. He was found deceased in his vehicle in the parking garage of the Target store. This information comes directly from the Facebook page of the Upper Merion Police Department. Also new information this morning is out of Baltimore Maryland from the Baltimore Maryland Police Department. Apparently a gentleman approached a police officer and his vehicle with a 9 mm handgun. The officer who was on his regular beak was in his vehicle doing paperwork, under the assumption that his life was in danger, the police officer fired his weapon through his driver side window. The subject was struck multiple times in the upper body and is in serious condition in hospital. The subject reportedly said to paramedics “why didn’t he just finish me off” from that statement officials believe that the gentleman was planning suicide by cop. Said officer is currently on administrative duty while the investigation is ongoing. My thoughts on that situation is that the officer did the right thing because to him his life was in danger. Spent some time on Facebook this morning and filtering through my normal chat groups-both of the stories come from “what’s going on Saint Thomas” the first one is from a resident questioning who could reassure her parking area because to her the pull off spot is not safely reinforced. Ironically she thinks just a regular every day laborer could complete the project. I know better and thankfully so did another member of the group who explained in detail what a spot improvement would entail. I have to admit I’m a bit partial and biased when it comes to the beaches because I will forever love MagensBay and for some reason I always think no matter what the ocean shot is my favorite beach, I’m not always right unfortunately. Now it’s just for the record I am watching NASCAR on fox and Tony Stewart is in the vehicle, Ty Dillon is sitting in Tony’s pit box because on the first caution which we are going green so far, Ty will hop in the vehicle. Here is something funny both Martin and Tony have bass pro shops as sponsors there for both the 78 and 14 look at exactly alike. Do not ask me why but Joey Logano is still behind the wheel of his 22 car even after his injury accident yesterday in the Xfinity series. Joey reported a sore back and sore shoulders and do not ask me why his car owner etc. allow him back in the vehicle with said injuries I think it’s fucking foolish. I know it is reported that Tony is going to step out of the vehicle for the day at the first caution but I hope that doesn’t come for a while because I really really like seeing him on track. And I also really like the new commercial for Coca-Cola where is team tries to throw him a retirement party-and he says “i’m not retired yet you knuckleheads”. As of 45 laps we are still under green and no cautions 142 laps to go. I don’t really want to pick a favorite for winner winner chicken dinner yet because anything can happen and it probably will. According to Prince Rogers Nelson’s personal chef, Prince was having upset stomach months before his death. And unfortunately we have our first caution-Amelia (88) decided to loose shoe and hit the number 5. And I was just informed that Michael Waltrip is driving the number 55! So we just had an interview with Mr. Dale Junior, and the same thing that happened in Daytona with Amelia happened here at Talladega-I hate this we seem to be doing really well and then kaboom. I completely agree with Tony I don’t like seeing him get out of his car but I agree with his doctor that he does need to be careful and I’m certain that they were bargains made for him to be able to get back in the car this early. OK we have an update on Smokey Stewart according to him this meaning Talledega is the final race of his recovery and the greenlight goes next week he will not have to get out of the car he will not have to do anything special thank you Lord. And I’m sorry this entry has been so freaking random, But I have been playing with the pooch as I dictate this post and unfortunately I have bad news for the 88 Amelia has caught fire and taken herself out of the race again I think Carl Edwards was involved too. So before I end up writing out every caution I’m ending this entry. Again I apologize for the craziness.
