Almost July-Random Thoughts
OK so here we are on the final day of June, summer has just begun the kids are out of school until August or September depending on where you are-the shopping malls are busy and the restaurants are busier. Life in general is busier because it’s summertime it’s vacation time it’s summer concert season. Personally I love this time of year the time of year when it’s nicer to be outdoors it’s nicer to be able to explore your hometown or even go on a road trip or general vacation to see somewhere else. I know I’ve said this before that if I could live anywhere where would it be and why especially if money was no object. Well considering I love where I live, I’m happy where I live-I miss living in United States Virgin Islands I’m not going to deny that I miss it; But there are reasons I am not there. Like I said if money were no object, not a concern- I would definitely return to the islands and live a stress-free life Go somewhere that there is no winter because I hate the Snow and cold.
When the most people think that money is no object they tend to get themselves into sticky situations when it comes to finances and that is something that I would not want to do-I almost said that I don’t want to have a situation where I could get myself into massive amounts of financial trouble-I think that’s what happens to a lot of people who win the lottery many people decide to buy extravagant things and buy things that honestly they really probably don’t need but they get it because they can afford it because they won the lottery. I am fortunate enough that I can afford most of what I want. Though honestly I would love to have The expansion of my pet and house sitting business be more successful to be able to make money with my creative writing and my blogging. Sometimes I want to find other ways to make money and I’m not saying make money illegally because that would not be kosher. I have definitely thought of getting back into the crocheting and knitting hobby I used to have. There are a lot of things that I used to do that I no longer do because I don’t know why I thin I definitely think I would have fun exploring crochet patterns or knitting patterns. I spend a lot of time on Pinterest looking at different things. Definitely spend time looking at tiny houses looking at vacation locations looking at jewelry and clothing and pet accessories among other things I StumbleUpon. I know that I need to go through my closet and like admits to look for things that I don’t wear I don’t need I can just dispose of in a proper way so that I have more space. As I sit here with my puppy relaxing in the sunshine this evening, I think of somethings that I could have missed out on in life but that’s OK whatever I’ve missed out on obviously wasn’t important enough for me to do or see or whatever sure I’d like to travel sure I’d like to do the adventurous stuff but when you think about that in reality, There are so many different things happening in the world since September 11, 2011 even since February 26, 1993-United States and other locations have been targets for terrorism. And unfortunately terrorism makes traveling anywhere Weatherby near or far a very difficult thing to do. Which is where I jumped into social media big-time. I like to watch things on periscope. Traveling on periscope can be done from the comfort of your own home in your pajamas if you want to. Does it involve a plane ticket or Turnpike tolls you just sit back and relax, it is also great for breaking news definitely great for learning about different things and going different places. Right now I wish I was under a palm tree in a hammock with the frozen drink but I’m here on my back porch with my dog which is also paradise. -Random Thoughts-
OK so I had a pretty good day yesterday I ran some errands I had my moment I am I went to lunch. I came home did some networking did some writing obviously and did some TV watching. I absolutely love this springy/ summertime weather it’s quite funny now because instead of getting stuck inside watching random shit on TV miss Pink has decided to get my ass up and take me outside to sit on the patio/in the porch room. Beautiful weather beautiful bonding time and I’m not stuck on the couch. Right now in fact I’m sitting out here with coffee with USB charger enjoying the quiet. I also wanted to mention about random social activity I do. A lot of the time I feel more “popular or social” online versus off-line in the real world sometimes that bugs me sometimes it doesn’t. Just depends on the mood I think it is good in someways because I can just shut off my phones if I want to be left alone. I did shut off my phone last night I think because when I try to share an article this morning-the microphone wouldn’t come up. I am seeing a lot of different articles this morning about Nancy Grace about terrorism about all kinds of interesting things I am going to go back and go into my bag of tricks/particles and pull and post what I feel is important. The article from Detroit about Alex and Jon, I am on the side of the fire chaser as long as they are doing things properly I always will back the fire department police department and emergency medical services but as long as the amateur photographer and photojournalist follow the rules of being safe and not going into hot phones not stepping into situations they could get him in trouble or make things more difficult for the fire department then I totally support that effort. As many of you know I do not watch the broadcast news anymore because of opinions that are driven down our throats. I preferred to come up with my own opinion I like to see raw footage that is why I follow and friend the photojournalist the photographer the amateur photo broadcaster. Now apparently HLN is doing some restructuring and my One time nightly addiction of Nancy Grace is going to be ending on October 13 she will not be returning or renewing her contract. I don’t know what the specifics are of why she is leaving something says something is fishy behind the scenes I don’t know if she’s being pushed out or what happened but I do enjoy the thoughts of legal professionals and stuff like that. I don’t know if it’s about diversity or why they are changing their structure over at HLN/CNN and the random thought of the moment is conspiracy news network; I hate when people of conspiracy theories I hate when people try and make a story out of something that is not a story. My friend Todd Q used to work for CBS3 in Philadelphia who now works for a station out in Las Vegas was telling us about a situation in Pensacola Florida where the pet parent made the wrong move and left their puppy in the car unattended-that is animal cruelty he animal neglect in my mind animal endangerment now parents do the same fucking thing with the children every now and then-regardless if it has two legs or four legs it doesn’t deserve it didn’t ask to be left in a hot vehicle or it didn’t ask to be left in a cold vehicle. Do not leave your children in the vehicle unattended when there are extreme conditions or when there are not extreme conditions. Regardless of the temperature it is child neglect child endangerment etc. That’s all from here-have a good day and stay cool and hydrated
