Impromptu RT
Okay so Tuesday I asked God for more excitement in my life and he knew that I needed a little adventure but I never thought that the answer would happen so quickly. Pink and I were just sitting around relaxing and enjoying the day when the answer to my prayer for excitement happened. Though I gotta say that I wasn’t thinking it would arrive in the form that it did. I’ve been awake since 4:30 this morning and I’m on my 2nd bottle of coffee. Yesterday we packed up the car and headed south. Just outside of Baltimore at Marriott Bethesda Suites is where we call home for a few more hours. TakotSubo Cardiomyopathy is what happened to my grandmother for the second time in less than ten years and she’s only 87. Mind you that I have not seen her since the previous time this happened back in 2008 and my uncle I had not seen in 32 years which made me uncomfortable. Uncomfortable because I essentially don’t know him and just because he is biologically related it does not mean he is family. To me family is the people that you have in your everyday life. Anyhow I for some reason am somewhat content at the moment even though this impromptu trip is nearly it’s end I do like the change of scenery. I needed that and sometimes I wish the adventure bug happened more often sans the the uncomfortable feelings around relatives. I got a pretty good sleep even though it was an early morning and I missed Married At First Sight last evening since the hotel doesn’t have it. I’ll check the tweets later on and tune into the show early next week. So we got home yesterday after a long drive and being able to mull over our thoughts. In situations like that I wish that my medical knowledge wasn’t as keen as it is but on the other hand it is very good to know what is happening. Anyway life is back to the regular activities and I will update later, I have a few other ideas in the brain and I want to write about as well as some stuff that I missed while I was out of town. Amazing what can happen in 24 hours.
