CraftingPawz From Watkins Glen
OK so it’s been a rather boring day knitting wise because I can’t seem to stick to a swatch or a yarn for that matter and I’m always looking out for another color scheme or pattern but definitely looking forward to getting my circular needles because I will be able to do more things and trying to learn more patterns and skills. So many different patterns that are on Pinterest are for crochet things that I would love to be able to knit. What drive me bonkers is when the patterns are mixed together and when I find something I like I can’t do it because it’s crochet instead of knit. There are definitely some interesting things that I would love to make. If not for sale just for getting the experience. Not that I am going to have children haven’t even thought about it but I have been looking at “baby” patterns because they seem to be the easiest to master. I know I have to take a photograph of my yarn stash. I know I after post more online/Instagram/Facebook etc. yes I’ve been tweeting a lot yes I’ve been ordering a lot. When I was told to “get yarn go back to knitting” I was not told to go to a craft store I was just told to get yarn. I know it’s probably definitely cheaper in a craft store but let’s face reality kids, Shopping online is definitely simple and easy and convenient. With regard to the Watkins Glen part of this entry. It was the Road race today and it was pretty calm and quick there were a few accidents and some whining from Kyle Busch-there were more mentions of names that you wouldn’t expect and less of who you would expect to hear. I was very disappointed that we didn’t hear about Kevin Harvick more or Tony Stewart more. You didn’t hear a damn peep about Jeff Gordon. I was glad that Joey Logano did not win I was not happy with Brad Keselowsi being a smart ass with Martin Truex Jr nor was I pleased that Brad took Martin’s chance of winning today’s race away. But I am happy about Denny Hamlin winning his first road course race. Anyway I’m sitting outside and not sure what happening but I keep a guy make very strange noises, Don’t know if it’s over that and of course or what but I do not hear tennis balls going. Oh well that’s life so I think I’m gonna knock out a few more rows on this particular swatch and maybe head on up to bed after a while. At this moment though my tweenie wienie is doing just fine and relaxing on my lap. Thanks for reading.
