A Delaware father says Philadelphia Flyers mascot Gritty punched his 13-year-old son during an event at the team’s arena last fall, according to reports. Chris Greenwell told the Philadelphia Inquirer that the his son Brandon patted the mascot on the head after he had his photo taken with him during an exclusive event for season ticket-holders at the Wells Fargo Center in November.
