I’ve been wanting to post about Charlie Kirk and his wife Erika for a while. I knew of him before his passing. I may not have agreed with everything he stood for, but I mostly shared his views politically. Since his death, I’ve learned both parties may be owned by the same person—do your own research. I’ve seen his messages and content and noticed the controversies and chaos. I don’t believe in conspiracy theories or drama. His death is real, whether or not the young man held responsible is involved. Today, I support his family and community. I’ve donated a little in his memory, but not excessively unless I truly believe in a cause. His purpose was to teach youth and be a good father and husband. It’s not my place to judge his life or how his family continues on. Some public figures are making accusations; I agree the crime scene was tampered with, and the truth will come out someday. Many high-profile people have been assassinated for their words, dating back to biblical times. I dislike big religion that insists on rigid rules; I practice privately and won’t push my beliefs on others. Religion has stereotypes, but I judge people by their character, not religion, skin color, or ethnicity. If you’re good, that’s great; if not, you’ll face consequences. To undocumented individuals in our country: if you don’t like it here, leave before you’re forced out and portrayed negatively. God bless Charlie, the USA, and remind us all we’re human beings and should act accordingly.
