Zohran Mamdani

Hello everyone. I want to briefly share my thoughts on recent developments in New York City. I’m concerned that non-American-born individuals are participating in American politics and lawmaking. Several congresspeople were not born in the U.S. and do not necessarily share American values about judgment and legislation. While freedom of speech and religion are fundamental rights, allowing people who do not adhere to Christian beliefs, break laws, or do not embrace Western culture to influence our nation’s laws is troubling. We seem to have veered off the right path, so I pray for guidance, as it’s clear some don’t uphold the foundations this country was built on. Here’s the Wikipedia entry for the mayor-elect of NYC, born in Uganda. I respect other countries and welcome lawful immigrants seeking better lives, but they should come legally and embrace Western values. Americans deserve to maintain their way of life without unwarranted changes.
