January 9: #ThoughtsAndFeelings

Greetings and welcome. Today, I wish to address the ongoing issues concerning patriotism and governance. Specifically, I am observing actions in Minnesota and Oregon. I am also referring to every city and town where leadership refuses to cooperate with federal authorities, including New York City, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Chicago, and others. It is concerning that many regions are under the control of Democrats with differing priorities. I am distressed by the fact that some law enforcement personnel, who are trained to protect the people are being told to stand down and not assist federal government with their job, I am alarmed by the evident lack of respect for authority among certain individuals. Growing up, respect for parents, elders, government officials, police officers, firefighters, and medics was considered essential. It is disheartening to see protests related to the death of a woman from Minnesota—whom I choose not to name, as I do not believe she should be remembered positively, given her actions. The same individuals protesting her death are celebrating the death of others, such as Charlie Kirk. Despite societal progress, there remains a significant deficit in mutual respect and history of constructive action following such incidents. In New York, the memory of September 11 appears to be fading, compromised by poor leadership. Philadelphia faces significant challenges, as does New Jersey. Minnesota has issues related to the Somali community, including alleged federal fraud. I am unaware of the specific circumstances in Oregon, as I do not reside there nor have connections to that region. I long for the days when law enforcement was genuinely respected and not targeted simply for performing their duties. Over the coming days, I plan to watch true crime documentaries, vintage television, and remain observant while staying discreet. May God bless America, our President, and all first responders who uphold the law with honor and respect. As someone with eclectic interests, I take lessons from various aspects of the world and leave the rest. Additionally, as a relative of military personnel and first responders, and with connections to September 11, I remain vigilant and prepared. Please watch your safety, as I will watch mine.
