Nancy Guthrie/Sebastian Rogers_-#MyThoughts

Hello everyone! This morning, I was on one of my platforms when I learned about some claims swirling around comments regarding the Nancy Guthrie investigation. People are asserting that I said I was “getting tired of this case,” a statement I honestly don’t remember making. They claim to have screenshots / proof.. if I don’t recall saying something, it either never happened or I’ve simply forgotten.

Lately, I’ve been facing a lot, and the Nancy Guthrie case has dragged on for quite some time. Opinions about her are varied. Personally, I’ve come to believe she’s no longer alive—I don’t think she was taken alive, and I doubt we’ll find her remains anytime soon. As for her family’s involvement, local authorities have cleared them, but they haven’t been cleared at the federal level. It’s frustrating because I feel the local police have mishandled this from the start, and honestly, I don’t trust local authorities much in this case—or in many missing persons cases. Take Sebastian Rogers, for example—his case from 2024 has had little new development, and questions about his family’s involvement remain unanswered.

I often wonder if these cases serve as distractions from other pressing issues in the country or the world. Media coverage adds to my frustration. I have a strange feeling about mainstream media; I trust independent journalists and rogue YouTubers far more. Everyone seems to have their own agenda—good or bad—and I tend to follow my gut. I don’t trust many people unless they have a proven history of honesty and reliability.

There’s also talk about why Nancy Guthrie‘s case is getting so much more attention than others. The key reason? Her daughter is a journalist and news personality. Plus, there are some strange connections to certain media figures. As someone who has been an independent writer and blogger since 2014, I do my homework on most cases I cover. Sometimes I just share articles without adding my opinion, but when I do share my thoughts, I have a clear sense of how I feel about it.
