Greetings my friends, I was wanting to write a note about the active shooter situation at the mall on the 15th of August – I was relaxing in bed listening to the public radio like I often do / when I first heard the dispatch I was kind of dumbstruck but also not particularly surprised because I was thinking/wondering when something like this was going to happen – no I don’t have any pleasure in having feelings of impending doom but I do indeed take pride in my ability to semi forecast some events. I don’t understand why such a situation was able to occur. I know that my hometown of King Of Prussia Pennsylvania is known for the largest shopping complex on the east coast and we are also the home to the largest, Target on the east coast —- I checked my Instagram right as I was having dinner today and found that there was an incident involving a stolen vehicle and handgun at Bahama Breeze last night which is located on the outer perimeter of the mall campus. I don’t have a clue if these situations are related to each other but I haven’t a doubt that we will know as soon as possible. – so last night I went to Facebook and checked on the police’s page to see if there were any updates & to my surprise-there were! With regard to the Bahama Breeze situation, it was shockingly separate. Kinda glad about that but I also feel uncomfortable about it because the criminal population from the city is making its way out here. Thanks to the city officials who have not done anything to keep people safe, criminals are allowed to run amuck in the streets continuously committing violent crimes without punishment – I’m very thankful that my county and community have a strong law enforcement presence! As I said on Instagram earlier I am more confident in calling the police vs mall security because I know it’s going to get dealt with in a professional manner.
