Hey friends, I wanted to take a moment to share what’s been on my mind lately. I haven’t been able to keep up with diary writing, and I truly miss it. Life has been quite overwhelming, and I’ve found myself deeply immersed in my crafting journey, specifically in fiber arts and my spiritual path.
Right now, I’m diving into a project with some discontinued yarn, which feels like a beautiful way to honor the past. I’ve decided to reopen my crafting Instagram—it’s a small way I can connect and support fellow artists, especially in navigating yarn selection. As I write this, I’m cozied up in bed watching YouTube videos, which feels like a much-needed respite.
Rebranding my pslyarnbarn was a heartfelt decision. I wanted to honor the incredible woman who taught me to knit over twenty years ago. Knitting has been a cherished part of my life since I was a teenager, and it’s bittersweet to reflect on how things have changed. I genuinely miss the days when I could visit a big box store and find quality yarn. Unfortunately, those days seem to be fading away as the quality of available yarn continues to decline.
Over the past few days, I’ve been working on mug rugs, and it’s been a comforting and rewarding experience. Crafting brings me joy, and I hope to share that joy with all of you. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
