#ThoughtsAndOpinions- Greetings, friends. As I sit here working on my knitting, my mind is overflowing with thoughts, so I thought I’d share some of them with you. I support what President Trump has done regarding Venezuela, based on what I’ve seen. The people seem pleased about the apprehension of the dictator and his wife. I also keep an eye on what’s happening in Minnesota, and I stand behind the federal government’s efforts to round up those who have no business being here unless they go through the proper channels to become citizens and make an effort to integrate with our community. If you come to this country intending to change everything and make it feel like your homeland, then why bother coming at all? Stay in your hometown if you’re trying to alter the American way of life. We are a Christian-based nation, with the freedom for people to practice their faith as they wish, as long as they don’t harm others. I don’t believe in cult-like religion, which is one reason I don’t belong to any; I consider myself eclectic in my beliefs. Regarding mental health and apparel, I support the companies I choose to buy from and will stand up for them whenever necessary. I see myself as an ambassador for brands I believe in, whether officially or not—I’ve been doing product reviews on and off for many years. I spoke with my partner this morning about the resale of first responder gear, and I learned it’s illegal to sell gear with location patches still attached. It’s fine if the patches say police, fire, paramedic, etc., as long as location been removed. As a spouse of a first responder, even though he’s no longer active, I have a bit of an advantage. But if an average person wears clothing indicating an affiliation, they could run into trouble. It’s similar to the tattoos for September 11—permission from a family member is needed to get remembrance ink. Like I said, I’m eclectic in my thoughts and opinions.
