Hey everyone, I’m turning over a new leaf. For some reason, I felt that a video post was necessary today instead of the audio version which I normally do. I’ve done two today live on TikTok. This was written on April 2, 2025. This morning I got a pretty cool surprise, I got to go to Joann, and my God she was very empty. My local store like many others of the chain is closing next month. I was lucky enough to get 15 units of yarn, even though it was red heart; and flower power, I am very thankful that I was able to get 15 units for just over $100. I came home and looked at the website of the brand/company and learned that they had a colorway that reminded me of my Nana. So I dipped into the bank account, which I probably shouldn’t have done, but I did and ordered 15 units of Hyacinth Bucket. Which is the name of the main character in the British series keeping up appearances. The show ran from 1990 until 1995, Nana and I would watch that together every time I was there overnight. So it was an amazing experience to spend so much time with her but also an amazing experience to have her send that signal from heaven that she’s watching over me indeed I’m sad that Joannis closing, but I’m thankful that I was given one last opportunity to shop there. With all of that being said, I am 99% certain that my yarn shopping days of 2025 are over because I have every one of the 36 cubes full. I also have the over stash in the red holiday wrapping paper tray. I’m almost finished with a remnant project and when I say remnant, I mean less than a normal amount of yarn. About TikTok and other streaming apps, I seem to be leaning towards favorited as my go-to Because I’m starting to get a little traction there and I have some followers. Also, I feel like I need a fresh start away from certain people away from a certain community that I see as possibly toxic in the sense of saying that they’re not looking to make a profit off live streaming, but yet they turn around and open up a small business of sorts on Another app and when I say small business, I mean, providing information on van camping, but put that information behind a paywall. Now that is completely insane when you can find information for anything practically for free on YouTube. Sorry, not sorry about exposing people because some people need to be exposed. Just like the fact that Tyler Baltierra and company are talking out both sides of their ass and MTV edits their content to fit a narrative of the adoption process. According to what I’ve heard, Teresa decided to sever the relationship because it was damaging to her mental health, and I can fully understand that coming from where I’ve come from. But the problem I have is when Tyler and his family decide to bully and degrade other people; yes, they were minors when they placed Carly up for adoption, but they also We’re old enough to know damn well what they were doing. Now things I’ve learned recently, which we probably forgot in some categories is that April and Butch wanted to do with Carly, what Barbara Did with Jace, which was raise him and take custody of him until Jenelle got on her feet properly and now, Jenelle has all three of her children. I understand that some of these “mothers“ are definitely questionable and not always the fan favorite and we all have our fan favorites but we also need to remember that MTV first pitched this 16 and pregnant/teen mom franchise as a documentary of how difficult it would be to raise children at a young age. So whose fault is it that it’s going on for 16+ years? And we all know there’s stuff that made it to the cutting room floor instead of onto the TV. That is because they wanted to paint certain people in a different aura and they wanted each character to have their storyline, etc. People may not like certain personalities and I always make my preferences and opinions known about who I like and who I don’t like, but there are certain reasons and I don’t think I have enough energy to post those reasons tonight, but I will and I hope you stay tuned for the subsequent Entry about teen mom, etc.
