#Cologaurd Creates Panic Not Harmony

I am rewriting this message because the initial draft was accidentally deleted during editing. I am deeply concerned that this company has sent an unsolicited test that requires a prescription, without my healthcare providers’ or my prior consent. Having witnessed false negative and false positive results within my family, I am particularly cautious due to my mental health conditions and neurodivergence. It is unsafe to send such tests without prior warning or consent, as they may negatively affect mental health, increase anxiety, or provoke panic disorders.

Furthermore, two of my favorite celebrities have been impacted by colorectal cancer, and James Vanderbeek is currently battling the disease. It is unprofessional and disconcerting to learn that a company would distribute tests during awareness month, regardless of the test’s nature, to individuals who did not request them. Employees of insurance companies are not medical professionals and should not have the authority to order medical tests for individuals without their explicit consent.

In conclusion, I strongly oppose insurance companies that claim to protect consumers but, in reality, are more interested in collecting personal data without consent.
