Mini Brain Dump

Hello from my basement apartment, where I’m focused on knitting and watching vintage television on YouTube. I’ve found that I’m much happier when I’m enjoying classic shows rather than engaging with live broadcasts on social media. The constant drama and controversy online can be overwhelming, especially the conflicts that arise among content creators, particularly those tied to MTV. I have no stake in their disputes and prefer to stay removed from the chaos.

MTV has a significant problem by restricting certain personalities to narrow storylines. They’ve kept a show that was meant to be educational in production for far too long, and it needs to change. I’m also frustrated by the unnecessary drama that erupts from specific cliques within various genres. While I may not have extensive experience in the TikTok communityβ€”having only been on the platform for less than two yearsβ€”I’ve found that some of the friendships I’ve formed there are far more meaningful than those in my past relationships.

As for my former partner, things are going smoothly without any communication. I suspect he or his wife has been trying to reach out since they’ve created several new accounts to friend me. Nevertheless, I’m keeping myself busy with knitting, managing my mental health, and focusing on educating others.
