Hello and welcome to another entry! Last night was quite the adventure in Indianapolis, with a police chase and a whirlwind of chaos still unfolding around us. My mind is buzzing with all sorts of thoughts and feelings, especially about the obituaries I’m planning to write. I’m gearing up to pen one for my relationship that ended just six months ago, as well as one for my biological father and stepmother—one of whom has already passed away. The reason I’m taking this step is that I feel it’s time to clear some space in my mind, a mental release for the memories that have lingered for too long. Though I don’t mention them often anymore, they’re still there, and I’m eager to wrap things up and move on.
I’m also feeling quite hopeful about my future, both personally and in my broadcasting journey. With another TikTok deadline looming ahead, it all hinges on President 4547’s decision about the platform’s fate. As a creator, I’m filled with anticipation, but I’m also ready for whatever comes next. I’ve cultivated a space for my broadcasting endeavors that I truly love, and I know exciting things are on the horizon.
While I can’t remember every thought that crossed my mind last night, I’m sure some of them will resurface in future entries. One certainty is that I have some yarn on the way, and I’m preparing for a fun project next month. I feel incredibly fortunate to have my amazing team around me, and I’m grateful to be in a place filled with things I cherish, including my little emotional support Chihuahua who brings me so much joy.
On TikTok, I find myself following topics that spark my interest, often bypassing the usual news channels in favor of the gossip and the local happenings. Staying connected to my community feels essential, especially since it impacts my daily life more than larger, distant events do.
As for the ongoing conversations about our country and immigration, I’ve come to a place of acceptance. I believe in the importance of going through the proper channels to achieve legal citizenship, as many successful lives illustrate, including our First Lady’s story. While I know some may argue about the history of our land, I think every piece of land has a complex past. There are aspects of this country I resonate with and some I don’t, particularly regarding the disappointment surrounding certain political outcomes.
Amidst all this, I’m still focused on writing those obituaries, contemplating how I’ll present them. Whether as straightforward tributes or in a more incognito manner, one thing is for sure—you’ll know they’re obituaries by the titles. I’m looking ahead and excited about the journey to come!
