Bunches Of Hugs 2.0

hello and welcome to the follow-up entry for Bunches Of Hugs, which is a discontinued, lightweight, medium yarn, that I have, fortunately, saved some of and was working on a project using. Unfortunately, I ran into a few snags along the way, and decided to unravel the project to save the yarn for something different. I still have a few extra units on the way. Along with several patches for my patch collection, which I think I’m going to do an entry about. I’m sitting outside in the porch room, listening to the weather, it’s rainy but not raining. I very much enjoy living where I live. I’m very fortunate to have a walk-in closet upstairs with the bed etc., and then I also have my apartment bedroom, which is where I spent most of my time it went from being a lounge area to a full-time living space because the more time I spent down there the better my mental health was. Anyway, knitting, the discontinued yarn is becoming a therapeutic experience for me, especially since it’s something so rare to find these days. I’m definitely willing to invest in yarn that speaks to me, as long as the prices aren’t outrageous. Speaking of discontinued yarn, I’m incredibly excited for the enthusiasts out there who love Big Twist yarn. Despite JoAnn Fabric and Crafts facing bankruptcy, it seems that both Herrschners and Mary Maxim have taken over the brand. I find myself eagerly questioning whether I will buy more yarn from these new vendors. It will really depend on the colors, pricing, shipping, and quality they offer.

Knitting has always been a calming activity for me. I learned how to knit from my Nana when we lived in the US Virgin Islands, and it holds such special memories for me. I keep up with what’s happening down there and have pictures of my childhood home that keep those memories alive.

For those who have been with me for a while, you know I’ve shared various posts about my life and the people in it, both past and present. I might dive deeper into those stories in future entries, and I’m looking forward to exploring that with you all!
