Hello and welcome to another exciting episode! I’ve been incredibly busy lately, and while there’s been a lot going on, much of it is positive. Sure, I’ve had some inner struggles, but I typically keep those thoughts to myself until I can channel them into a video or a post here. Overall, I’ve been emotionally and mentally vibrant, though my physical feelings about my size have fluctuated a bit. Indigestion and constipation aren’t the most glamorous topics, but they’re part of life.

I’m proud to say I’ve been making healthier food choices and no longer engaging in stress eating—which is fantastic! I’m focused on mindful eating, prioritizing nutrition over mere cravings, and I’ve been enjoying my cranberry cocktail along with one or two cups of coffee each day. My sleep schedule has become more consistent, going to bed around 6 or 6:30, falling asleep between 7 and 7:30. Sometimes I drift off immediately, other times I just have too much to think about.

Recently, I’ve been diving into the “Dennis the Menace” series and loving every moment of it. Instead of shelling out $104 for the box set, I found it on YouTube and I’m now in the fourth season. It’s fascinating to see actors from that era crossover into multiple shows; a testament to their versatility. There was no heavy typecasting back then, at least not as much as we see today.

Unfortunately, typecasting is an issue that has persisted, affecting many actors and limiting their opportunities. Everyone is just trying to earn a living and pay the bills—and it’s unfair when talent is overlooked because of pigeonholing from one or two performances.

On a different note, I’ve been gaining loads of knowledge from various reality shows, whether it’s medical or law enforcement-related. I find myself ready to discuss these topics for hours due to my autistic perspective. And speaking of autism, I’m quite frustrated with RFK and his uninformed views on the neurodivergent community. Autism and Tourette’s syndrome are neurological conditions with no cures—treating them like they’re something that can be fixed is simply misleading. It’s disheartening to see people who lack genuine understanding attempting to speak on these topics.

I also came across Jenny McCarthy’s video supporting RFK, and I must say, I disagree with her perspective. Her belief that her son’s experience means autism can be cured is not only misguided but also dismissive of the realities many families face.

To cope with the chaos of the outside world, I’ve been spending a lot of time in my apartment, knitting and enjoying my healthy yard. I have a solid stash of cotton and acrylic yarn since I can’t work with wool due to allergies. Currently, I’m tuned into a TikTok live from Los Angeles County, which is enjoyable.

I’ve also been listening to the Public Safety radio, I like staying informed about my community. I have a fascination with police searches and true crime, particularly how my favorite shows are now classified as classic television! It’s a bit surreal when you think about it.
