ABH Diary: Thoughts And Opinions

Hello, today I want to share my thoughts about the chaos in communities and the recent tragedies in NASCAR, especially from December 2025. It’s been quite a tough month for the sport, and honestly, not in a good way. I’ve been feeling disappointed with NASCAR for a while now. I don’t watch as much anymore because most of my favorite drivers have retired or moved on, so they aren’t on track. The current drivers aren’t really appealing to me, either. As I’ve mentioned before, I feel that many of the drivers in 2024, 2025, and now 2026 earned their spots through connections or family ties rather than merit. The situation with Michael Annett’s death remains unclear to me, as I haven’t looked into it deeply. The tragedy involving the Biffle family and three others is still under investigation, with funerals being arranged. I’m trying not to dwell on every detail so I don’t get overwhelmed. Now, there’s also the house fire that affected Denny Hamlin and his family; sadly, his father passed away from injuries, and his mother is serious but receiving treatment for burns. As I’m sharing this, I’m watching “Unsolved Mysteries,” hoping that some NASCAR mysteries—like these recent tragedies—will be solved soon. Recently, I’ve been outspoken on Facebook about current events. Some people comment and debate, but I prefer not to engage in arguments. I’d also appreciate if people avoid negative comments on my pages. I bought a sweatshirt from Dear Person Company, but I haven’t worn it yet. Numerous other companies are copying its message—something I don’t support, especially since I doubt they donate to mental health or suicide prevention causes. The weather here in the Northeast has been a wild mix of snow and ice—almost like Alaska! I don’t enjoy cold weather, partly because of my arthritis. Despite everything, life is good. I’m happy, and my mental health is getting better, thanks to my mom and my boyfriend. My boyfriend and I have known each other for 20 years, sharing good times, bad times, and everything in between, and we’re looking forward to making even more memories. Regarding my social media platforms, I’m not reducing my activity, but I am more conscious about where I post. I want people to see what I’m doing without feeling overwhelmed or ignored, especially with all the shadow banning that exists. I’m a crafter, neurodivergent, and a spiritual person. When it comes to faith, I believe in God but I don’t follow organized religion. I also feel that in the US, people with non-Western religious beliefs should hold governmental positions as lawmakers if anyone wants to be in governmental position, it should be a requirement that you are born and raised in America. I think there should be limits on how long someone can serve on Congress, the House, Senate, or local government—perhaps requiring governors to spend most of their time in their home states. I also believe taxpayers shouldn’t be required to fund personal or government provided housing for in the case there is a tragic event. I have many opinions on these topics. I could write about them every night, but I choose not to, because my thoughts often repeat themselves. Going forward, I’ll be sharing important updates directly on my Facebook page and scheduling semi-important ones for my blog. I am committed to staying active on Meta; I just plan to adjust how I engage.
